Storm on Ada

The storm has passed and the summer is coming. In the middle of the night I was woken up by one of these house shaking thunders. Than the heavy rain did set in and both of our dogs looked for a hide out inside. So from 3 a.m. in the morning Ramba, a very special mix from Jakal and dog, Šara our hunting dog and me did listen to the concert on our metal roof. At 6 a.m. we decided to talk a walk and literally it was only possible to walk barefoot since every way was flooded. But this very special time of the year is the marking of a change towards really hot days. Since Ada Bojana is surrounded by a tremendous amount of water, where the river meets the sea the storms itself a quite spectacular. In my 9 years of travelling I only discovered a similar phenomenon just on Islands in Thailand and Cambodia and in Australia. We really hope that one of our guests have the chance to discover this natural spectacle. Since our house is naturally yours you will be exposed in a very unique way to an overwhelming natural play.
