Bird sanctuary

Ada Bojana itself but also the region of Ulcinj are known for its stunning diversification of birds. It is a great migration route for birds with a sight of rare birds like the Sand Martion or riparia riparia as well as Falmingos, herons, Eurasian jay, nightingale and cranes.

We ourselves enjoy every morning a cup of coffee with the sound of nature on our back terrace or watching the swallows indication an storm arriving on the front terrace. My lifelong living in a city I haven't had this intense perception of the sound of nature. When the cuckoo is flying in a circle it sounds like 5 of them would have a concert and when Woody the woodpecker is searching for his dinner we enjoy his solo concert. Magpies chasing the small sparrows every day or trampling on our roof looking for pray.
