Nista ne radi - Nothing is working

On Ada Bojana is not really winter time. The yearly seasons here are reduced to two. Heat and Rain. Currently we have rain season with taifun like storms. Tonight, two nights after Wolf Full Moon where Jupiter and the moon appear together and create a unique atmosphere, we had heavy rainfalls. The island itself is by now flooded. That is why we have decided to go the next bigger city to have some amenities like power, hot water and WiFi to work. Unfortunately a storm did cause in Ulcinj a power outage. Surprisingly we ended even up even worst. On Ada Bojana we have an oven to warm the house and cook a meal, enough firewood for the whole off season and always mountain spring water on stock. Basically what we have tried to achieve was more comfort but ending up with none. In the morning I have got instantly reminded to an old saying of my grandpa, “give up on your situation and just sit and wait a while what to come next.” The Chinese call it Wu Wei, the way of thing letting happen by itself without interfering. By now we could light the oven, put water for a soup to boil and watch kite surfers at the stormy beach making the best out of it. Good for you, especially as a Kite surfer is, that we have created a Promotion* to experience winter time on Ada Bojana.
